ProWest Engineering, Inc. was originally founded in 2005 by Melinda and Ernie Aguilera. With construction in their blood, they are a third generation contractor who decided to carry on the family tradition of continuing to build and improve the infrastructure of our communities. They continue to build a company on the foundation of family tradition and values while delivering services of exceptional quality. The PWE team is comprised of industry professionals who are committed to their customers and the work they provide.

PERSONNEL

Melinda Aguilera

With more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Chapman University. Her responsibilities include development, implementation, and enforcement of company policies and procedures, supervision of administrative employees, and human resources management.

Ernie Aguilera

With over 15 years of experience, Ernie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture. His responsibilities include estimating, proposal building, project bidding, scheduling, project management, project budgeting and oversight, management of subcontractors, and public and private works projects.

Armando Nunez

With over 30 years of experience in the concrete industry, Armando’s work is unparalleled in quality. His responsibilities include management and oversight of the concrete crew, including project estimation, management and execution.

Sherri Barrera

With close to 35 years of sales experience, Sherri oversees sales and marketing efforts. She is responsible for sourcing out new leads, preparing qualification packages for prospective clients, makes initial client contact and maintains follow up, works closely with property management company contacts, and processes new projects through the Operations Department.
